Thanks for visiting. This is information on our products.
We use some of the highest quality dye. Each shirt is one-of-a-kind.

Garment Production

For our production we use Dharma Procion Fiber Reactive Dye Products, some of the highest quality made. We use these for maximum vibrancy and repeated washing durability. Our garments are all 100 percent cotton that has been washed twice in hot water and pre-shrunk unless noted on the product description. We soak all items for 20 minutes in soda ash before folding. Dyed items sit for 24 hours in a warm room inside closed tubs to cure/set before being washed out. Once rinsed in hot and cold water, they are immediately washed for two or three complete cycles in hot water with Synthrapol Detergent (specific for tie dye wash out). Yes, hot water, so we get as much dye out as we can before shipping. All future washing must be done in cold water. Our washing instructions give more detail.

Washing Instructions

Please note this important care information.
New items will still release dye for up to 10 washes. Wash in cold water with towels, dark or red colors. Dye can transfer to other clothes if it stays in contact in the washer. Clothes left in the washer after a complete cycle will be pressed up against each other tightly because of the spin cycle compression, which can cause dye transfer to other clothing in that wash if not moved to the dryer promptly.

TieDyeWILD.com is not responsible for articles of clothing that are damaged by dye transfer as a result of improperly washing with other clothing. We believe in bright color and dye saturation!
